[~gercan], [~maxandersen] I think I have come up with a neat solution. Basically *sun.net.http.allowRestrictedHeaders=true* property should be set to handle CORS headers correctly.
Here is the related javaFx issue - RT-35868. Furthermore other tools also faced similar issues with CORS - https://java.net/jira/browse/JERSEY-2231
