I have crated a PR (https://github.com/jbosstools/jbosstools-base/pull/432) which generates a new event on every eclipse startup. This event sends a list of installed plugins:

!newEvent.png|thumbnail!

!GA.png!

*This event is enabled by default* (if the usage reporting is enabled by user of course) as any other event but we can disable it adding the following line into http://anonsvn.jboss.org/repos/jbosstools/workspace/usage/usage.properties :
