Andrej Podhradsky commented on JBTIS-470:
-----------------------------------------
Hi [~nickboldt], the version 1.0.4 is enough but here is a problem that you will get other version of BPEL plugins
* if you install directly JBDS-IS 8.0.3
* if you update from JBDS-IS 8.0.2 to JBDS-IS 8.0.3 (BPEL is not updated)
Note that JBDS-IS 8.0.3 contains BPEL of version 1.0.5 which contains 3 small bug fixes comparing to 1.0.4.
Moreover, I would rename the BPEL feature version (we can do this only from JBDS-IS 9.x). I believe it would be more clear if there is a JBoss BPEL Editor 1.0.5 instead of JBoss BPEL Editor 1.3.100.Final-v20141204-2031-B13.

> BPEL plugins are not automatically updated. The problem is that the BPEL feature is still in version 1.3.100.Final-v20141204-2031-B13 but its feature.xml contains
> {code:xml}
> <import feature="org.eclipse.bpel.feature" version="1.0.0" match="compatible" />
> <import feature="org.eclipse.bpel.common.feature" version="1.0.0" match="compatible" />
> <import feature="org.eclipse.bpel.apache.ode.runtime.feature" version="1.0.0" match="compatible" />
> {code}
> which means that it installs any BPEL plugin compatible with 1.0.0. Note that during updating only feature version is considered, so in this case it is not automatically updated.
