Run installer in automated mode with java 7 using automation .xml file with jrelocation=/path-to/java8. Installer will install jjbs using java7 and then will add /path-to/java8 to jbevstudio.ini.
If java you running installer with is 32-bit Java and have 64-bit java configured in .xml automation config you end up with jbds installation that cannot start.
