Revisited the JIRA created for Gorkem for the issues that I am facing (JBDS-3454)
Uninstalled and re-installed all the dependencies as Gorkem stated in JBDS-3454
Installed Updates
Created a new Mobile Hybrid Project (as per https://access.redhat.com/articles/1518153) and then changed the spalsh screen icon (as per https://docs.google.com/document/d/16lGZBZoXiTeV3X8sAJwWuAzyzYLLdozYZt0nz6PCF-Q/edit)
