Rob Stryker commented on JBIDE-20476:
-------------------------------------

[~the_alchemist] We have had issues in the past with windows locking some files, so if you're using windows, it's very possible that this is an issue with the runtime. The runtime shouldn't be locking files, and if it is, we'll need to report the bug to them. It'd be easier with an example deployment that replicates, of course... but yeah... Usually the file-locking issue is caused by the runtime.

If you replicate again, please get the exact text, either from the dialog or the console or wherever you're seeing this error. This way I can track down where the message is coming from and why we're displaying it.

> I have multiple Server's in my Eclipse:
> * Wildfly 8.2
> * Wildfly 9.0.1
> I have my application (two EARs) deployed to both of them, but when I try to Publish my changes, it complains in the Eclipse error log that some files might be locked so the publish was not completely successful.
> Perhaps I shouldn't have the same EARs in two apps?
