A) it is rather related since it was what triggered the whole thing. Neither JBDS 8 nor 9 had earlyaccess of Fuse - users would need to be told to go to JBDS 7. As time moved forward it is just for JBDS 9 currently.

B) This is the whole problem here. Fuse etc. are *not* following JBDS Core release schedule so they do *not* have a tested and verified version. If they had this issue would not be very relevant at all.
