Runtime detection for CDK is working in JBDS 9.0.0.Beta1-v20151210-0557-B177. I was using CDK from https://github.com/redhat-developer-tooling/openshift-vagrant as CDK2Beta3 on customer portal does not contain .cdk file. Closing.
