Able to reproduce with new build. But after that I create new html page using jquery mobile template and see its visual representation. We had an idea to show error message for HTML files in xulrunner mode, but decide not to do it.

Open page > select "Change to HTML5" page is opened and immediately Eclipse is restarted, I meant opening of page before restarting Eclipse makes no sense because improper rendering engine would be used and user is not able to see results because Eclipse is restarting

It makes sense becuase this page will be active and opened after restart. Technically restart should be done asynchronously because we should let other jobs to be completed. So I don't think we can fix that.
