[~rruss] nothing so far. In general we have a mechanism to handle multiple versions. We just do not have multiple Ionic versions :) But if Ionic team presents some new major version, e.g. 1.1 or 2.0 (currently the latest one is 1.0.0.Beta14) then we would need to add that version to the Palette.
