I assume this happens on RHEL 7 but trying to use GTK2 - this combination has no working browser as there is no libwebkitgtk(gtk2) on RHEL 7 only libwebkitgtk3 (aka gtk3). If running on RHEL 7 only viable option is GTK 3.
