Rob Stryker updated JBDS-3162:

I've made a PR that changes generated servers to use a short-form name for all. Long form names take up a lot of real-estate and make it hard to reposition the Servers view comfortably.

This is the patch I vote for. https://github.com/jbosstools/jbosstools-server/pull/330

Attached is a screenshot showing the new potential names. I realize not all abreviated names are official, but I think we should make a usecase for adding FSW as a proper abreviation upstream. It's short-sighted to ignore the obvious solution of using short-form names.

I think this fix is the best for our users.

> When installing JBDS+EAP (same installer), the default name under the Servers tab is "jboss-eap". This is a request to have that default server name changed to "JBoss Enterprise Application Platform".
> And the default runtime name to "JBoss EAP Runtime".
