So - I'm having difficulty reproducing the issue online.  I:

1. Add JBDS 8.0.2.GA zip file
2. Add JBDS-IS 8.0.0.GA zip file
3. Add JBDSIS 8.0.0.GA EA zip file
3. At "Available Software Sites" disabled https://devstudio.redhat.com/updates/8.0 (this site was automatically added by JBDS zip file)
4. Installed everything under EA zip without problem - see attachments oi1, oi2, oi3

Started with this:
tar xzvf ~/install/eclipse-jee-luna-SR1-linux-gtk-x86_64.tar.gz

and a new workspace
