Which platform are you on? Windows? OSX? Linux? Which version? Which JDK? Which version of Luna? Are you using R, SR1, SR1a, or the forthcoming SR2?

Were there any details in the console log? Can you launch Eclipse to see more info?

Are you on a platform with SWT problems, like Fedora 20 64-bit? Have you installed the 32-bit SWT stuff as well? If not, {code}yum install gtk2.i686{code} might help.
