* I expect to be able to retrieve templates from the server before June.  The web console will need to be able to do it so I'm not certain why it would not be available from cli or java client
* Overriding the template variables is not in our list of requirements but it seems like a reasonable stretch goal.  If the functionality goes in before June to override params then it should be trivial for us to offer it in eclipse
* I don't expect editing templates unless we were to offer a raw json editor
* Auth with certs and then oauth is happing.  We were told to assume no auth, but I don't see how we can if the server supports it and users can turn it on.
