Steps to follow:
1. On supported version of RHEL 6.x or 7.x add Red Hat Developer Toolset subscription as described on https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-US/Red_Hat_Developer_Toolset/3/html/User_Guide/sect-Red_Hat_Developer_Toolset-Subscribe.html
2. Run `yum install devtoolset-3-eclipse` . This would install what used to be called Eclipse classic aka  http://download.eclipse.org/eclipse/downloads/drops4/R-4.4.1-201409250400/download.php?dropFile=eclipse-SDK-4.4.1-linux-gtk-x86_64.tar.gz rebuild.
3. Start eclipse and install from JBoss Tools update site as usual.
