I manually triggered a rebuild in 4.3.0.Beta2 branch without any changes in code. I then downloaded the update site that was built from it and installed it. The resulting is working, can connect to stg.
The client lib that's included is newer than the one originally included in JBDS 4.3.0.Beta2:

To verify you have to
* add http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/mars/nightly/updates/core/4.3.mars/ to the software sites
* download https://jenkins.mw.lab.eng.bos.redhat.com/hudson/view/JBossTools/view/JBossTools_4.3.mars/job/jbosstools-openshift_4.3.mars/28/artifact/sources/site/target/openshift.site-3.0.0-SNAPSHOT.zip and add it as archive to the software update sites in Eclipse.
* Then install all items included in the downloaded archive.
