[~deshuai] [~mlabuda] JBoss Tools now as a whole requires JDK8, there's no way around it. As for OpenShift there's no way around jdk8 either since the bundle org.jboss.tools.foundation.core it relies on requires jdk8 propagating the requirement up the tree.
The only question that remains for me is how we'd prevent users using jdk7 from updating. [~nickboldt] any ideas?
