This is a client-side problem.

What's your timing on this? Current clients should work against previous releases, but we're looking at beefing up our test coverage of that ASAP, and it's in your interest to let us get that done. (Note there is testing of this, but I want more.)

Also, are you using the same client for AS 7.x servers?
