Rob Stryker commented on JBIDE-20108:
-------------------------------------
So... unsurprisingly (for us, [~mmalina]), I'm unable to replicate ;) I even tried on an actual remote host i control far away (not on my network).
Steps I took:
1) Put eap 6.4 on the remote host
2) Add the user (admin/p&ss at 3rd or whatever)
3) Create rse remote host for my host
4) Create new server (with runtime) in remote+mgmt
5) Set credentials in server editor
6) Start server, it seems to start correctly
7) Open jmx view
8) expand "Server Connections", right-click my server, select connect
9) expand the tree
10) watch as JMX nodes are loaded
It seems to work 100% as expected. I did notice a very small weird thing, that a weird blank window or dialog or something pops up at the same time it asks me for my secure storage credentials, and I have no clue wtf that is... but... it doesn't seem to affect anything.
A google search doesn't really show very much that makes sense to me or seems relevant. =/

> This is different than JBIDE-19463 where the main problem was the missing runtime and we assumed that otherwise it would work.
> Note: I tried WildFly 8.2, WildFly 9.0.0.CR2, EAP 6.4 and all failed the same way.
