This seems to have been done intentionally almost a year ago:

But unfortunately there's no JIRA id attached to it, and so no discussion. If I remember correctly, I was asked to bump them for both wildfly AND eap6.x,  but I guess it's also possible I just did it on my own as a mistake when I was meant to bump only wildfly. 

I'll bring it up on the list and see if anyone remembers why this change was made.
