This bug slipped through our fingers in the latest version. We just fixed that and should be available in the next release. The workaround is:

# Open the pom.xml from the addon project
# Add a  {{<version.forge>}} property and set to 2.15.1.Final
# Change the {{<version>}} from the {{forge-bom}} artifactId to use ${version.forge}
