As with all 3rd party features (or patch features), we have some options here:

*JBT*

0. include in "Core Tools" category on the JBT update site (so users who choose "Abridged JBoss Tools" will get this feature)
1. include in Eclipse Marketplace connector (add new feature into the list of features installed by default; user can deselect it if they want)
2. include in Central as a new connector (like we did for Java8 support in JBT 4.1 / JBDS 7 for Kepler, to expose it for existing users)

*JBDS*

0. include in "Core Tools" category on the JBDS update site (so users who choose "JBDS Core Features" will get this feature)
1. include in JBDS core .feature so it's installed by default via installer jar
2a. include in Eclipse Marketplace connector (add new feature into the list of features installed by default; user can deselect it if they want), *OR*
2b. include in Eclipse Marketplace connector (automatically added if we do #1 above; therefore there's no second feature & no option to exclude)
3. include in Central as a new connector (like we did for Java8 support in JBT 4.1 / JBDS 7 for Kepler, to expose it for existing users)

If this feature patch was already in Luna, it'd be super easy to include it in the above scenarios. But it's not. 

So... we probably need to add it to the JBT/JBDS target platforms. 

Good thing we haven't released 4.42.0.Final-SNAPSHOT to nexus yet, eh [~mickael_istria] ?
