Rob Stryker commented on JBIDE-19637:
-------------------------------------

If spacebar works, then its obvious the selection listener isn't missing. This somehow feels like an swt bug, because there's no reason for a click not to register the selection listener, but a spacebar does register it.

We did find a workaround if we always enable the hyperlink. The problem with that is that then if a user clicks the hyperlink on a server that has no corresponding downloads declared, they'll just see an empty wizard with no choices.... which isn't very user-friendly.

I wonder if [~snjeza] has a mac, and would be able to dig into this? She's usually very good at discovering root causes of weird bugs, especially down in SWT layer.

> When you go through Servers view -> New Server -> EAP 6.1 -> New Runtime and then click "Download and install runtime...", it won't do anything.
> If you go through Preferences -> Server -> Runtime Environments -> Add -> EAP 6.1+ and then click the Download button, it will work.
> This issue applies to both JBDS 8.1.0.GA and JBoss Tools 4.3.0.Alpha2 testing build, but I doubt we will be able to fix this for 4.2.x.
