EDIT: OK, I just ran the offline update with disabled internet connection to be sure and it works. Don't know why I couldn't do that before. So yes, it is resolved.

Let me put it this way - is it supposed to require internet connection when updating from a zip file?
 -> if yes, then it is resolved
 -> if no, then it's a bit more complicated
