Nick,  I think the confusion is when I hear "the source for earlyaccess" I'm thinking about which file is used to build/publish the result, *not* which location one of our builds are using to get dependencies.

i.e. the source for jbosstools-server is *not* its updatesite url, it is the github repo. Its updatesite is what other downstream components uses for its build - not as source but as a dependency.
