The RSE terminals view still exists.  RSE has added actions to link to the new terminal, but these seem to be contradictory adn confusing. 

I currently see a "Terminals" view in the "Remote Systems" category,   a "Terminal" view in the "Terminal" category, and a "Terminal (old)" view in the  "Other" category. 

In terms of UI from the RSE view, well,  it seems a bit confusing actually. If I open "Remote Systems" view and add a remote linux host, it seems I can open *both* views, even though they look similar (but not identical). 

If I right-click the host, and select "Open Terminal..."  it will open the NEW terminal view. If I instead right-click the terminals subsystem, I see two actions:   "Launch Terminal" and "Open Terminal..."   Already, two nearly identical actions placed next to each other in the view is wrong... 

It seems "Launch Terminal" opens the old RSE terminal widget in the RSE repo, which doesn't seem to inherit any of the UI from the new terminal. "Open Terminal..." seems to open the NEW terminal. 

The only benefit to the old one, I can see, is that once you put your credentials in, they're persisted somewhere... whereas the APIs used to open the new tm terminal are not able to pass the credentials back to the caller.
