The PR looks mostly good, I'm glad to see the EA code being centralized in Discovery.
However, I'm not sure hiding EA connectors is really the best way to do it. I think it'd probably be better if the user was notified EA elements need to be installed and that requires explicit/manual enablement. This goes along showing EA connectors in central by default if they're available.
