The CDK server adapter is now in the best shape I can imagine it being without integrating with linuxtools.    The current version could in fact stand alone without additional changes.  I intend to create a new branch for any integration with linux tools, for fear that I might break stuff or leave the repository in a non-functioning shape. 

The current functioning branch is:   https://github.com/robstryker/jbosstools-openshift/tree/cdk

I'll be forking this immediately to https://github.com/robstryker/jbosstools-openshift/tree/cdk_linuxtools
