[~fbricon] Can you compare import with Project Explorer open with and without nested projects? It's true that everytime a new project is added, it triggers some work to compute nested projects, but I wouldn't expect it to take more than a few milliseconds for each project (so around 1 or 2 second for the whole wildfly).
