about using nighlty updatsite - if the developers of the tools/plugin itself uses the nihglty updatesite then you do not need the touchpoint.
And we do want to use the snapshots from the nightly site to be able to do our beta/cr builds. We cannot stay on the GA version until last minute.

Hence why we are looking for an updatesite that does not have this force add of an updatesite users shouldn't use unless they actually installed from eclipse.org updatesites (and in that case they dont need the touchpoint)
