Max has suggested that this might be an issue if you're connected via both wired and wireless connections. It's possible the server might be resolving your hostname to one of your ip-addresses, while the tooling is resolving it differently.  Obviously if the OS is resolving both, it should resolve them in the same way, but, it's possible (even likely) that the server is doing more logic here to decide which of the interfaces to bind to. 

[~mmalina]  Can you verify this is replicatable if you disable wifi and only use the wired connection,  or disable wired and use only wifi?
