If you mean the blocks that start with 
{code}
### master is currently 4.3.0.CR1. Note new path conventions for latest snapshots

vs.
{code}
### when staging 4.3.0.CR1
{code}

... Then no. Those blocks alternate between staging/CI as the latest available for the upcoming milestone.

If you mean the blocks of code commented out for 4.2.x/8.x, then yes, we could... but why not just skip over them? They're there in case we ever decide we need to do another 4.2.x/8.x release.
