JBIDE-21441 is for next major version. We cannot fix this in 9.1 just by consuming importer from upstream.
The suggested PR there should have been merged, I guess I simply forgot it. Is it OK to merge it right now? If so I'd need someone to review and try it. Do you think you could do that and comment on the PR?
