FWIW, we can add an *Ignored Status Pattern* to AERI which can filter such errors. ATM we ignore all kind of logged java.net.*  exceptions. See [1] for details.  We can match any triple of logging bundle, exception type and exception message. Each segment allows wildcards (*). Let me know if we should investigate this further.
