I am having the same problem that the person in issue JBIDE-12594 was having, but in a newer version of JBoss.  I am using JBoss AS 7.1 and JBoss Tools 4.3.0 Final.

When I try to publish the project to the JBoss server, I don't get any errors in the console, but the JBoss server in the Servers tab still shows as "Republish."  If I try to run it anyway, I get an error similar to that in JBIDE-12594.

Specifically, here is the error I get (some files and directories have been renamed):
