I have worked on a couple of smaller Wildfly projects using Eclipse and I have never faced this issue. But then I was working on a project involving a larger deployment (> 100 MB) and this was when this issue struck and it started happening all the time. Everyone in my development team had this problem. Sadly, this issue was the main reason for the whole team to finally switch to Intellij - since then we have never had problems like this again. I don't want to promote Intellij here but for us, this issue was a real productivity killer and we needed to do something about it. :(
