Which version of the parent pom are you using? Current 4.4.1.Alpha1-SNAPSHOT on master and Nexus https://github.com/jbosstools/jbosstools-build/blob/master/parent/pom.xml / https://repository.jboss.org/nexus/content/groups/public/org/jboss/tools/parent/4.4.1.Alpha1-SNAPSHOT/parent-4.4.1.Alpha1-20160621.135547-5.pom seems to reference the right version of parent pom. So if you're using the right parent, you should get the right TP.
