I have tested studio against PR and everything works just fine. Basically, there  is no step-by-step instructions for QE verification. Broadly speaking, JSDT should have full ECMAScript 2015 support - more details can be found in the following -  http://www.eclipse.org/community/eclipse_newsletter/2016/may/article2.php 
Several key points for verification:
- any ECMAScript 3 / 5 / 2015 code should be parsed without errors
- content assist should contain new EcmaScript 2015 keywords and template literals such as - *Class*,  *const*, *let* etc..
