[~bdshadow] just tested origin source 1.3.1, and he cannot replicate the problem:

everything works fine

both CDKs apparently use the same origin:
* 7th of October: 
openshift v3.3.0.32
kubernetes v1.3.0+52492b4
* 4th of November
openshift v3.3.0.32
kubernetes v1.3.0+52492b4
