Yes, it's definitely an infra problem at our end, so I've opened a ticket to clarify what happened.

Meanwhile, I'm wondering WHY we needed to use https in the redirect/discovery URL.

Here's a PR that changes that, if there's no good reason to be using https instead of simple http:
