Using the latest 10.2 devstudio installer (no IS or supplemental runtimes) we get this for preferences with a GUI install:

java -jar ~/install/neon/devstudio-10.2.0.AM2-v20161014-1657-B6205-installer-standalone.jar

 !ds-10.2-pref-gui-install.png|thumbnail! 

and this with the command install

java -jar ~/install/neon/devstudio-10.2.0.AM2-v20161014-1657-B6205-installer-standalone.jar InstallConfigRecord.xml
