[~odockal], I'm pretty sure that's what I requested in this JIRA and that's what Rob did - to use Container Development Environment 3 for cdk 3 server adapter both created via runtime detection and manually. You're right that it's a bit suboptimal to have Container Development Environment (without version number) for cdk2. But this JIRA was only about cdk 3. Feel free to create another jira for cdk 2 if you think it's needed.

Verified in devstudio 11.1 nightly.
