The left most icon is used for starting or selecting a server. The second is for launching in run mode. The third is for launching in debug mode. The fourth is for stopping a server adapter. The fifth is for "touching descriptors", a very old concept needed to get the server adapter to redeploy or recognize a redeployed module.
