I'm so confused. You reported this as a JBoss Tools problem, then tried to verify it using the devstudio RPM. The devstudio RPM doesn't include the o.j.tools.common.mylyn.feature, nor is it in the devstudio Central site. So... to verify this is fixed:

a) install Eclipse JavaEE Neon.2 or later
b)  !jbide23833-install.png|thumbnail! -- select the 3.8.4 version of the common.mylyn feature
c)  [^eclipse.log.20170324-1612.txt] -- no error logged
