[~jyoti-jboss] actually if not using a target platform installing plugins into the IDE should work just fine. But then in any case you'd need the plugins in the correct version. It is very unlikely that if you work with our source the stable plugins and the latest stable Eclipse IDE are good enough in terms of versions. I would thus use our target-platform and have ALL required plugins as source. Does your environment fullfill these requirements? 
Assuming that you're trying to build our jbosstools-4.4.x branch:
* Are you using our [target platform|https://github.com/jbosstools/jbosstools-target-platforms/] in the version 4.63?
* Do you have the [server plugins|git://github.com/jbosstools/jbosstools-server.git] cloned and checked out in the branch jbosstools-4.4.x?
* Do you have the [base plugins|git://github.com/jbosstools/jbosstools-base.git] cloned and checked out in the branch jbosstools-4.4.x?
