Martin Malina commented on JBIDE-25893:
---------------------------------------

I think it's a good idea to incorporate minishift delete somehow. Personally I would go with 2). I don't think deleting the vm after each cdk stop is something we need. 3) might make sense, but I think 2) is more useful. I don't know about other people's habits, but I rarely ever delete server adapters. More common for me is to delete the whole workspace when I no longer need it.

> In order to minimize user's interaction with command line while using CDK tooling in IDE, please, think of way how to provide option to delete CDK/Minishift configuration over server adapter. Because we already have context menu item 'Delete' on server adapter, we should think of something else, imho one of following could be a way:
> #1 Add check box into CDK server editor ("Delete CDK on stop") and call delete after adapter is stopped
> #2 New context menu item: 'Delete Minishift(CDK) vm/Delete virtual machine', or something similar
> #3 Show a dialog on server adapter's delete call and ask user whether he want to, not only stop the adapter if it is running, but also delete underlying vm...
> Each of option has its pros and cons. General thing regarding all option is that we do not want to interact with console and so, command delete has to be called with flag --force. do we want that? Please comment what do you think.. Thanks
