> Current maven formatter plugin 2.0.1 is using the Eclipse formatter that was in Mars. If will complain even if you format the code in current Eclipse Oxygen. We should use the latest version (2.7.0, 2.7.1 has bugs) and see if it wont complain if when code is formatted in the IDE.
