With the changes for the [SpringBootProjectConfigurator|https://github.com/jbosstools/jbosstools-central/pull/420] in place in central, you can manually add dependencies to the server adapter and have them synced to (*BOOT-INF/classes*) the pod. 
What's missing is the adapter having the main project and it's dependencies added when you create it (as in 2.)
