If the integration stack link is for Eclipse *oxygen* and the dev studio  12.0 is Eclipse *photon* then it may be incompatible.  The IS *photon* release wasn't until mid/late August 18, so it should be fixed already.   The error isn't in Teiid Designer, so re-assigning to [~pleacu] to check.
